The Portuguese Society of Biomechanics Congress gathers every two years researchers with the goal of encouraging, disseminating and supporting the biomechanics research undertaken in Portugal and worldwide. 

The event’s visual identity evokes the wolf, a living symbol of the region were the 2019 PSB Congress will take place. The main illustration combines three visual representations of a wolf’s mechanical system, emphasizing structure and movement — a scientific engraving, the skeleton structure and a walking cycle schema — appealing for a semiotics interpretation.
