Porto’s Cultural Corridor is the result of a pioneering partnership between the University of Porto, Porto City Hall and other institutions of 14 local authorities of the Porto Metropolitan Area. Its objective is to democratise access to art, culture and heritage for all University students (including international or mobility students) and the remaining public and private Higher Education institutions in countries covered by the ERASMUS + agreements.
The visual identity evokes the artistic and cultural heritage democratized by the Corridor’s network.
A classic ornament shaped into a linear modular system establishes connections along the paths, ending into the letter “C”.
The letter “C” stands for Corredor Cultural or Cultural Corridor and acts as a camaleonic symbol that changes it’s vibrant colors depending on the context it is applyed (green on screen, red and blue when printed…), while black & white are used as main colors.
